Jack Russell launches new web design – Bristol

As one of Bristol’s leading web design and digital marketing agencies, we’re proud to have designed and built a new Magento ecommerce website for cricketing legend Jack Russell.

Thank You Thank You (2)

Former England player (1987 to 1998) Jack Russell, is now an internationally recognised artist and has commissioned the website in order to sell his works which are in demand around the globe. The subjects covered are not just cricket related, but also include military, architectural, people and wildlife themes. It was important that the web design complimented the art itself…

Fanatic has also assisted Jack with his social media profile, helping to prepare a new Twitter account – @jackrussellart – which is already followed by some of the world’s leading cricketers.

Alex Sullivan, a director at Fanatic, said: “This is a case of a local cricketing legend choosing a local web design company to help with the marketing of his art. Jack’s gallery is in Chipping Sodbury just outside Bristol and Fanatic is based in the south of Bristol.”

“It’s great to have been able to work with such a talented artist and to develop a fantastic site that represents Jack as a brand. The site is scattered with what we call ‘Jack Facts’ that illustrate some of his unique idiosyncrasies and eccentricities.”

“The website has full ecommerce functionality. Users are able to buy prints and books directly from just £25, through to master originals priced at over £25,000. The site is also fully responsive and is so viewable on a personal computer, a tablet and other mobile devices.”

Jack Russell said: “I have worked very closely with Fanatic on the development of the site and my Twitter profile. It has been an incredibly enjoyable experience and I’ve been delighted with the results.”

As for the intro to social media, although daunting at first, Sam Crutchley, Fanatic’s senior planner, has worked closely with me and has shown me how to get the best from Twitter and marketing my work online.”
