London Speaker Bureau is a global agency for hiring event speakers. Our goal was to support the team with search engine optimisation to improve traffic and enquiries from organic search. We also support the existing marketing efforts to optimise the conversion rate, tracking and data insights of the website. Throughout the project our remit has grown to help support the launch of new ancillary sites, social media community building and content creation.
Within 3 months of launching the project, we had generated the highest volume of enquires in over 2 years, a 46% increase on the average number enquires from the previous 12 month. We also generated the highest volume of organic traffic in over a year by increasing the ranking of 58 keywords to rank in positions 1 to 3 in search engines. In order to start building a larger audience of brand aware contacts to prepare for GDPR, we also worked to build social media followers, leading to a 31% increase in followers in 2 months.
Through a combination of on site structural changes, content changes and link building, we moved almost 60 new keywords from different groups onto the first page of Google search results. We are working on a series of keyword research projects to identify how landing pages should be structured differently to allow for better optimisation and to be able to rank for a broader range of keywords to attract more traffic.
With the goal of growing a larger warm audience, especially to mitigate the potential effects of GDPR, we were asked to help build additional followers on the clients best converting social media platforms. Within 2 months we had increased their Twitter following by over 30%, up from 2500 to over 3600.
